What to Expect

Six questions people ask before they write. Answered the way I answer everything: plainly.

Who is Karen Pearson?

A philosopher, an author, and an artist on Decatur Island in the Salish Sea. I identify the structures people operate from but rarely see. Before the island, I taught English and literature at the College of Southern Nevada through the 2000s.

What do you actually do?

The work is exploratory and diagnostic, not advice and not motivation. Each piece isolates one pattern, makes its structure explicit, and traces the language producing the result. I do not prescribe behavior, I do not enforce change, and I do not hold court.

What does manifestation mean to you?

Your words author the cognitive patterns that quietly organize your behavior and your outcomes. What is recognized can be claimed. What is claimed is owned. What is owned can be authored. Nothing changes without authority. Manifestation is authorship. You write your life with your words.

Who is this for?

People willing to examine the language they live inside. You do not answer to me, and I do not manage the occupants. If you want motivation or someone to hold you accountable, that is a different shop. If you want to see the architecture you are already using and claim it, come in.

How do we start?

Through the door marked Work with Karen. Five questions, one at a time. Everything you write there is confidential between you and me. If I feel we are not a fit, you will not hear back from me. That is an answer too.

Where can I hear you first?

The vlog carries the videos. The newsletter carries the free guide, How to Manifest the Most Important Things in Your Life. Watch, read, then write if it calls for writing.

Live deliberately. Karen
