karenpearson.live is owned and operated by Karen Pearson of Decatur Island, Washington. All references to “Karen,” “I,” “me,” “we,” “us,” this “website,” or this “site” mean Karen Pearson and karenpearson.live.

All Sales Are Final

Any purchase made through this site or from Karen Pearson, including digital materials, writings, artwork, or any session or engagement she may offer, is final. No refunds are issued under any circumstances.

Why There Are No Refunds

What Karen delivers is her work: writing, thinking, and attention. Once delivered, it cannot be returned the way a physical product can. Digital materials are delivered immediately, and access to them is the purchase.

The FTC Cooling-Off Rule Does Not Apply

The Federal Trade Commission’s 3-Day Cooling-Off Rule applies to certain sales made in person at your home or at temporary sales locations. It does not apply to purchases made online, to digital goods, or to services delivered remotely. Because everything sold through this site is purchased online and delivered remotely, there is no cooling-off period, grace period, or trial period.

Chargebacks

By purchasing, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer in place of contacting Karen first. If you believe a charge is in error, raise it through the Contact page and it will be reviewed. A chargeback initiated in breach of this policy is a violation of these terms, and all records of purchase and delivery will be provided to the payment processor.

Disputes

Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly is subject to binding individual arbitration as described in the Anti-Class Action Waiver.

Jurisdiction

This Refund & Chargeback Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute arising from this Refund & Chargeback Policy shall be resolved in San Juan County, Washington.
